    Chitwan National Park:


    Chitwan national park located 120 km south-west of Kathmandu, and it is known as the first and most famous national park in Nepal. The Chitwan National Park lies in the inner Terai belt of central Nepal and is the well-protected area in the country. It covers an area of 932 sq. km and also includes hilly areas of Siwalik range covered by Shorea robusta or Saal forest. Chitwan national park is also the last remaining home for over 400 of the endangered Asian one-horned Rhinoceros and the largest population of rare Royal Bengal Tiger. Besides, there are leopard, sloth bear, spotted deer, wild dogs, wild boar, rhesus monkey, white stockinged Gaur, Grey Langur monkey, small wild Cats and many small animals. This place is also full of much variety of flora and fauna. The swampy areas and several lakes of Chitwan are home for marsh crocodiles and in a stretch of the Narayani River, are found one of the few remaining populations of the rare and the endangered Crocodile species Gharial and also four species of water Dolphins are seen here. It is a heaven for the birdwatchers also, many species of woodpeckers, Bengal florican, and hornbills, red-headed Trogons and the winter birds such as Pintails, Bar-headed Geese, water Fowl and Brahminy Ducks are the jewels of Chitwan national park. During the summer season, the forest in Chitwan national park is full of migratory birds, such as the Indian Pitta, the paradise flycatchers, and Parakeets. The park offers more than 450 species of birds.  


                                                                                               ITINERARY

    Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuwan international Airport, and transfer to hotel.
    Arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport, Then welcome by our office representative, and transfer to the respective hotel. After checking in to the hotel, meet our experienced trekking guide then detail briefing about the Trekking. Trekking permit collection as well as other required documents for the trekking. Finally settle down all the payment procedures.
     
    Day 02: Kathmandu full day city tour (Swoyambhunath+Pasupatinath+Bouddhanath)
    After the morning breakfast, briefing about the Kathmandu full day city sightseeing. i.e Swoyambhunath, it is one of the holiest pilgrims for Buddhist and Hindus, and it is  located at the hilltop in the Kathmandu also popularly known as the monkey temple.  
    Then after we drive to Bouddhanath stupa, which is also the main important shrine for Buddhist around the world. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest spherical Stupa of Nepal and one of the largest Stupa in the world. Then finally we drive for Pashupatinath.
    Pashupatinath is located nearby Bouddhanth, this temple is one of the major important sacred pilgrim site for the Hindus around the world. And not to forget all above three shrines are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage site. Finally drive back to hotel.

    Day 03: Fly kathmandu to Pokhara (30 min) then drive to kimche (3 hours) via Nayapool then trek to Gurung village of Ghandruk (1.5 hours)
    After breakfast drive to Kathmandu Domestic Airport then fly to Pokhara (30 minutes flight). After arriving at Pokhara Airport we drive to Kimche on our private vehicle this takes around two and half hours. Upon arriving at kimche we hike up to the Beautiful cultural Gurung village of Ghandruk this takes around 2 hours. Check in to the hotel and at the evening enjoy the Gurung cultural dance organized by local Aama Samuha (Ghandruk Gurung Mothers community). Ghandruk village is popular for its typical Nepali Gurung culture, tradition, and hospitality, besides this village is also popular as the village of famous Gurkha Army. The most amazing attraction from this village is the stunning view of Mount Annapurna south (7219m), Mardi himal (5553m) and Mount Fishtail (6997m). Stay overnight at Ghandruk.

    Day 04: Trek Ghandruk (1940m) to Tadapani (2590m) (5-6 hours)
    From Ghandruk we will ascend towards Tadapani, it takes almost 5-6 hours of trekking. While on our trek we can see the amazing views of Mount Annapurna, Fishtail, Lamjung himal, and other peaks as well this will help us to forget our hour long difficulty of trekking. On our way we can also see Rhododendron flowers blooming all over our trail especially during March, April and first week of May. Arrive at Tadapani, dinner and overnight.

    Day 05: Trek Tadapani to Ghorepani (2860m) (6-7 hours)
    After breakfast trek from Tadapani passing through the beautiful rhododendron forest up to Ghorepani, this takes around 7-8 hours. Today from Tadapani we trek down one hour until we reach a small wooden bridge then after crossing the bridge we climb up for another one hour then rest for a while. After resting we again start our trek to banthati, but this time the trail up to Banthati will be a gentle walk. We continue our trek again from Banthati to deurali climbing quite steep trail for almost 3 hours then we arrive at Deurali. From Deurali we hike for more 2 hours, the trail is almost zigzag and on this trail we will also meet a nice view point from where panaoramic views of Mount Dhaulagiri (8172m) and Annapurna range can be observed. Finally arrive at Ghorepani and overnight.

    Day 06: Trek Ghorepani to Poonhill then trek to ulleri then drive to Pokhara (6-7 hours)
    Early morning hike up to the Poon hill for one and half hour, enjoy the morning sunrise from the view point. You can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Mount Dhaulagiri (8172m), seventh highest mountain in the world, Mount Annapurna (I) 8091m, tenth highest mountain in the world and other many mountains and peaks. Excursion around the poon hill view point area for about an hour then return back to Ghorepani, enjoy Hot breakfast then trek down Ulleri then drive to pokhara.

    Day 07: Pokhara half day city tour
    After breakfast, we go for Pokhara half day city tour. i.e Davis fall, International Mountain museum and Bindabasini hindu temple. Overnight pokhara.

    Day 08: Drive Pokhara to Chitwan (4-5 hours)

    2 Night / 3 Days Jungle Plan
    Accommodation for 2 Nights / All Meals (Morning Tea / Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner) / 1 ½ Hour Elephant Safari / 1 Hour Canoe Ride / 1 ½ Jungle and Bird Watching / 1 Hour Bull-a-cart Village Tour / Tharu Cultural Dance & Nepali Dinner and Elephant Breeding Center / Village Walk.

    Day 10: Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu (5-6 hours)
    After the jungle activities at chitwan, we drive chitwan to kathmandu. Arrive at kathmandu, relax, rest and remaining time at your own.

    Day 11: Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar square heritage area tour
    Bhaktapur and patan was two different kingdoms during the Malla Dynasty ancient time, and it is also the UNESCO world heritage site, good for sightseeing. Ancient Royal Palace, temples, statues, arts and many more to look around.

    Day 12: Free and easy day at Kathmandu
    This day you can go for shopping, or walk around the nearest places. At Evening Himalayan Icefall Trekking company will provide Typical Nepali farewell Dinner.

    Day 13: International Departure.
    After breakfast drive to Kathmandu international Airport for your onward journey.
