Till today only a few trekkers have trekked to Milke Danda, due to less information about this wonderful place, therefore Milke Danda trek can be the best trekking destination for those who want to trek around the silent natural place. Milke Danda trek is considered to be the soft trek, best for those trekkers who can't trek to the Kanchenjunga base camp either due to their physical condition or due to lack of time. Milke danda trek offers you the taste of trekking into the Kanchenjunga and Makalu region as a whole. The view of Mount Kanchenjunga (8586m) and its range, Mount Janu (7710m), Mount Kangbachen (7903m), Mount Makalu (8481m) and its range can be best viewed from Milke Danda.
Milke Danda lies between the Arun and Tamor valley in the long and high forest ridge. The main inhabitants are Limbus and Rai, they are the ethnical communities who have been living around this place for generations and you may get the unique opportunity to know and see their centuries-old culture, traditions, and hospitality. The best time to trek, Milke Danda, is during the March to May, where you will be amused by the beauty and variety of Rhododendron flower which covers the entire forest. It is believed that 25 different varieties of Rhododendron are found in this area. Besides, September to November is also the best season for Milke Danda trekking.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer and check in to hotel.
Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Biratnagar,(35 minutes) and drive to chauki for overnight. (6-7 hours)
Day 03: Trek Chauki to Gufa Pokhari (2870m) – (5-6) hours walk
Day 04: Trek from Gufa Pokhari to Milke Dada (3662m) – (5-6 hours)
Day 05: Free day to explore around Milke Dada (3660m)
Day 06: Trek Milke Dada to Bhalukhop (2830m) (5-6 hours)
Day 07: Trek Bhalikhop to Jaljale (2120m) (4-5 hours)
Day 08: Trek Jaljale to Chainpur (1600m) (4-5 hours)
Day 09: Trek Chainpur to Tumlingtar (937m) (6-7 hours)
Day 10: Fly back to Kathmandu from Tumlingtar (30-35 minutes) check in to Hotel. Rest, free and easy day.
Day 11: Kathmandu city tour followed by Typical Nepali farewell Dinner

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer and check in to hotel.
Our representative will meet and assist you at the international Airport then we will transfer you the hotel. Check in to the hotel, rest and overnight.
Day 02: Fly Kathmandu to Biratnagar,(35 minutes) and drive to chauki for overnight. (6-7 hours)
Ater breakfast drive to Kathmandu domestic Airport then fly to Biratnagar, this will take around 35 minutes of flight, then from Biratnagar we will drive to the village of chauki via Dharan. Driving from Biratnagar to the village of chauki will approximately takes around 6-7 hours of drive. Overnight at Chauki.
Day 03: Trek Chauki to Gufa Pokhari (2870m) – (5-6) hours walk
We start our trek from Chauki, on this day we trek through nice and beautiful limbu village and farm lands. During the trek we will also be blessed with the sounds of different birds, making our trek even more worthy. After trekking for 5-6 hours we will reach to Gupha Pokhari. Gupha Pokhari is the small settlement with few houses located around the hilly area of Sankhuwasabha district and from here nice view of landscapes and Mount Kanchenjunga and Mount Makalu can be seen. Overnight Gufa Pokhari.
Day 04: Trek from Gufa Pokhari to Milke Dada (3662m) – (5-6 hours)
After a nice rest and hot breakfast at the Gufa Pokhari, we trek towards Milke Danda through Alpine forest. Trekking on this route is even more exciting, as we trek through silent forest, only few trekkers, precisely locals can be encountered. This journey becomes even exciting during the spring season where variety of Rhododendron flowers makes the trek even beautiful. It takes around 5-6 hours to reach Milke Danda. Rest and overnight at Milke Dada.
Day 05: Free day to explore around Milke Dada (3660m)
This day you are free to explore around the village and Milke Dada. We get the chance to see the varieties of Rhododendron flowers blooming just around you. Enjoy the Panoramic views of Mt. Makalu (8481m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586m) and Mount Janu (7710m). Overnight in home stay or tea house lodge.
Day 06: Trek Milke Dada to Bhalukhop (2830m) (5-6 hours)
This day after breakfast we will descent back but we follow the different route, as this gives us the chance to explore more and new place in less time. Overnight in the homestay or teahouse lodge at Bhalukhop.
Day 07: Trek Bhalikhop to Jaljale (2120m) (4-5 hours)
After the beautiful overnight and hot breakfast at Bhalukhop, we leave for Jaljale. On the trail we get the chance to see the panoramic views of hills and mountains. Excellent view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Makalu can be seen from a vantage point on the way to Jaljale from jaljale ridge. Overnight at Jaljale.
Day 08: Trek Jaljale to Chainpur (1600m) (4-5 hours)
As we trek towards chainpur, we will encounter the clean rivers, and some typical village, farmlands and local herders on our way to Chainpur. As we descend for chainpur, we will see many local settlements. Overnight at Chainpur.
Day 09: Trek Chainpur to Tumlingtar (937m) (6-7 hours)
This day is the final day of our trek; it takes around 6-7 hours of trek through village and farmlands. A day walk from Chainpur brings us to Tumlingtar. Overnight we stay in the lodge.
Day 10: Fly back to Kathmandu from Tumlingtar (30-35 minutes) check in to Hotel. Rest, free and easy day.
Day 11: Kathmandu city tour followed by Typical Nepali farewell Dinner
