    Everest Base Camp-Kalapathhar-Chola Pass-Gokyo Trekking - 19 days

    Recommendation for Chandra Subba

My name is Kazik Pichlak. I am a medical doctor, general and oncologic surgeon, with the passion for exploring  all possible  mountains in the world, but particularly Himalaya. In Nepal,   I have been 16 times.
I cooperate with Mr Chandra and his agency Himalayan Icefall Trekking for many years. He arranged for me and my friends 10 trekkings to different parts of Himalaya and Tibet. Some of them  were standard trekkings, but some were very challenging to remote parts of Himalaya or, for example, with the passes above 6000 metres. All of these were always under the wing of Chandra agency.
Twice I had serious health problems. Mr Chandra organized very effective help immediately – evacuation from mountain area by helicopter.
All our trekkings were arranged perfectly. Mr Chandra and his agency’s team are the experts in leading excellent, unforgettable Himalaya trips.
I recommend with all my heart Mr Chandra’s agency. He and his team guarantee the best service when exploring Himalaya.

Mount Everest Base camp (5364 meters) is the most unique and one and only memorable trekking experience that every hikers, climbers, and trekker should do at least for once in a lifetime. Mount Everest Base camp trekking is considered the holiest place for every Trekker in the world. Everest Base camp Trekking is compared with the Mecca, Jerusalem, Pashupatinath, and Lumbini for every trekkers and nature lovers around the world. The journey to Everest base camp starts from Kathmandu, Where we fly to Lukla Airport and from Lukla Airport we trek towards Everest base camp, via Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche and several other villages and finally arriving at Everest base camp and Kala Patthar. After a few days around Everest base camp, we trek towards Gokyo Lake via Chola pass (5414m).
The Gokyo Lake (4790m) is a beautiful lake in the Everest region, also part of an extended Everest Base Camp trek known as the EBC trek via Gokyo Lake or vice versa. This trek is commonly trekked by people with slightly more time to trek as the trail is 4-5 days longer than the standard EBC trek. From Gokyo lake trekkers also can trek to Everest base camp and Kala Patthar via Chola Pass or Trekkers who wish to go to Gokyo lake from Everest base camp or Kala Patthar can trek to Gokyo Lake via the same Chola pass trail. The Gokyo Lakes trek also has the added benefit of being a circular route as opposed to the standard EBC trek which returns along the same trail.
