Nar Phu valley trekking is Nepal's probably the least explored, and remotely located trekking region in the country with full of alluring beauty of nature and also known as the lost valley of Nar and Phu. Nar Phu trek Nepal is located in the Manang district of western Nepal and access is only granted after receiving the special permit. The people from Nar Phu have the historical Tibetan background. The Nar Phu valley trekking consists of mainly two villages, Nar-ten villages and Phu-ten village, and hence it is called Nar Phu valley trekking. Nar-ten village has around 300 residents living in the village with around 86 individual households, whereas Phu village has the population around 210 residents with 36 households. The major source of income of the residents from Nar Phu village is yak and Himalayan goat herding, trading their wool and meat and tourism as well (mainly tea houses and basic lodges). To trek in the Nar Phu valley one should follow the Great Annapurna circuit up to Koto, and then from Koto we leave the Annapurna circuit trail and follow the Nar Phu valley via Meta and Kyang. The Nar Phu valley trekking attractions include the amazing high waterfalls, beautiful ancient monasteries, ruined fort of Khampas (Tibetan refugees), ancient villages of Nar and Phu, the people and their culture, Mountains like Gangapurna, (7454m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III, Annapurna IV (7525m), Chulu West (6419m), Chulu East (6429m), Pisang peak (6092m) and many more.
