    Saribung Trekking And Peak Climbing (6346m) - 25 days

    After leading several Himalayan expeditions myself, including the first American ascent of Annapurna I, I can attest to Chandra’s outstanding qualities as leader and organizer. He is an especially good guide for student groups. I first met Chandra when my daughter attended 8th grade at the Lincoln School in Kathmandu, Nepal, and he was the guide selected by the expat community to lead the 8th  grade students on a week-long “Explore Nepal” trek.  The students and parents really appreciated Chandran’s thoughtful planning and leadership.
    In the last twenty years, I've enjoyed a dozen diverse adventures in Nepal with Chandra.  He always provides great food, gear, and guides as well as personalized itineraries and attention for individual travelers and small and large groups. His company is a good choice for any individual, school, group or family that wants to enjoy their own trek with a personal itinerary at a relatively low cost.
    If you might like a Nepal adventure customized to your interests, abilities, and schedule,  you can learn more at at  Himalayan Icefall Trekking or contact Chandra at himtrekzone@gmail.com.

    Saribung Trekking and Peak Climbing (6346m) is the most amazing but less popular destination in Nepal, due to its remote location and less information. Saribung is the Peak (6346m) located between Annapurna region and Mustang.  Trekking and peak climbing in the remote part of Nepal is one of the memorable and unforgettable experiences in Nepal. Saribung Trek and Peak climbing consist of trekking into the centuries-old ancient trails, rugged landscapes, several high passes and glaciers, typical ethnical villages and their culture, hidden valleys, and of course amazing views of several high mountains and peaks. Himalayan Icefall trekking Saribung Adventure starts from Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, then next flight to Jomsom and from Jomsom trek to the ancient Kingdom of Lomanthang via several passes finally to Saribung base camp, and to Saribung peak then trekking via Hidden valley of Narphu to Besisahar to finally to Kathmandu.
    The best time to trek and climb Saribung is during the months of March to May and September to November, and this is considered as strenuous trek since this expedition includes several days of trekking through high passes and rugged landscapes. Generally everyone can do this expedition; however, past trekking, climbing, and physical exercise background add extra benefit. The Major highlights and attractions of the Saribung expedition can be as follows:

    * Rugged Landscapes
    * Ancient hidden valleys and centuries old trails
    * Spectacular views of High mountains and Peaks and trekking through high passes
    * Typical ethnical culture, lifestyle and aged old monasteries
